Sindelfingen: SÜDREAL and LAKEWARD buy development plot

The SÜDREAL Projekt Sindelfingen GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture between the Stuttgart-based project developer SÜDREAL and the Swiss investor and asset manager LAKEWARD, has acquired a commercial plot of approx. 9,000 sqm on Neckarstrasse in Sindelfingen. Plans call for 17,000 m² of gross floor space for flexible partitionable offices and a hotel with hotel apartments. Over 250 parking spaces will be created in the single-storey underground car park and the outdoor parking area.

SÜDREAL Managing Directors Jörg Lorenz and Uli Bräuninger have already received concrete rental enquiries for the offices and the hotel complex. The current project development is to be completed in the coming months. Construction is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2019. Further projects are in the pipeline.

LAKEWARD Real Estate AG has been active in Germany for several years and, after investments in office and residential real estate – such as the recent acquisition of a residential development in the Mittenmang project in Berlin – has successfully expanded its investment spectrum to include project development.
