15.03.22: Lakeward opens office in Germany

Lakeward is opening a location in Germany in Ludwigsburg in spring 2022. The Swiss real estate company will thus also have a physical presence in the strategically important metropolitan region of Stuttgart from now on. Managing Director of Lakeward Germany will be Sven Kübler, an experienced real estate specialist.

Lakeward has carried out several successful projects with various partners in the Stuttgart region in recent years, for example in Sindelfingen or Bad Cannstatt. Further projects in the region are planned for the future. The opening of the German location is thus a logical consequence of the strategic orientation, as Simon Koenig, CEO of Lakeward, explains: “In order to expand further in Germany and to be able to support our partnerships and ongoing projects even more efficiently, it was clear to us that we would like to take our next growth step via an active location in Germany.”

Legally, the location will be affiliated with the newly founded company Lakeward Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of the Swiss Lakeward Real Estate AG. The management of Lakeward Deutschland GmbH will be taken over by long-time industry expert Sven Kübler. He joins Lakeward after more than 20 years with DIBAG Industriebau AG (Doblinger Unternehmensgruppe). “With Sven Kübler, we have gained a committed, highly experienced executive with an excellent network in the real estate market. He is an excellent fit for our growth-oriented company”, confirms Simon Koenig.

Sven Kübler will focus on the acquisition and development of new projects as well as the asset management: “I am delighted to be able to continue on Lakeward’s successful path and to contribute to the further success of the group with my experience and expertise as well as my local presence in the key market of Germany.”

Lakeward is already very successful in the residential, office and industrial segments. “We attach great importance to sustainable construction. We often develop entire neighborhoods with living spaces for different target groups with playgrounds, age-appropriate access, recreational areas, integrated local suppliers and good connections to the city centers,” explains Simon Koenig.
